We'll be showcasing a preview of the brand new Tia Bridal gowns at The Cairn Hotel specially designed by Emma Lou. These gowns have never been seen before and so we are incredibly excited to be revealing them at Harrogate!!! Also on show will be a celebration of our best selling Tia Bridal and Benjamin Roberts collections as well as the full range of our Gorgeous With Curves gowns. The VOW’s was an opportunity for brides-to-be to get some fantastic wedding ideas in the luxurious surroundings of the 5-star 51 Buckingham Gate Hotel. The evening started with a glass of Champagne accompanied by scrumptious canapés and an incredible display of couture talent walking down the catwalk in the Courtyard at 51, which included our Enzoani collection. |

 Modern Bride, Excel London - November 2010 |

This is a brand new consumer show at Excel, near Docklands, London where Benjamin Roberts will be showcasing their new gowns on the catwalk. In addition, brides and grooms will have a chance to ‘put a face to one of the principle names’ behind Benjamin Roberts as Karen Taft the MD will be exhibiting a selection of our gowns on our own stand. This is a new idea by the exhibition organisers Foxglove Ltd to bring the big names in the Bridal Industry to the consumer shows where brides can meet the manufacturers on a more intimate basis. One bride-to-be who did just that was Iris Durinovac. Iris fell in love with a Benjamin Roberts gown at Modern Bride so much that she couldn’t wait to rush out to buy it! Iris told us “I was so fascinated…I kept coming back all the time asking you a lot of questions about this dress. It took quite a while for the dress to arrive in the shops in London. As a result, I travelled down to Dorset, where I finally found it at Abbey Brides of Sherborne. I tried it on and bought it straight away!” Iris married Philip in June 2011 - and we think she looked beautiful in her 2206 gown in the pictures she sent us (See right) Congratulations both! |

National Wedding Show, Earls Court, London - October 2010 |

Twice a year in Earls Court, London and twice a year at NEC, Birmingham, The National Wedding Show descends on each venue to host their Spring or Autumn fair for ‘Brides & Grooms To Be’. Benjamin Roberts usually has a strong presence at both shows; catwalks showing a collection of their gowns, a competition that is usually hosted by Wedding Magazine where one lucky reader can win a free wedding dress, sponsoring the live weddings on stage being some of the highlights. Their winning dress(es) have also been showcased on a new stand as finalists of Bridal Buyer Best Dress Competition where visitors to the show were asked to vote for their favourite dress. This October, Benjamin Roberts is working in association with Hitched.co.uk where a groom can play a game of snooker to win a free wedding dress for his bride! |

| 7 Year Anniversary/2nd Year at New Premises Party | 1st July 2010 marked a ‘lucky seven years’ since the present owners took over Benjamin Roberts Ltd so we celebrated with a complimentary lunch, a champagne toast and a photo shoot with all of the staff. |  |

| HRH The Princess Royal visit - January 2010 | HRH Princess Anne is President of UK Fashion Exports and often visits British companies that export. Benjamin Roberts Ltd qualified for such a visit and the date was set for 21st January 2010. After months of preparation, HRH Princess Anne officially ‘opened’ the bespoke new factory in South Wales. The visit also caused some excitement in the industry and featured in Bridal Buyer. |

| HRH Visit After Party - January 2010 | HRH Princess Anne left Benjamin Roberts Ltd in the afternoon to return to Gatcombe Park, and the VIP guests, employees and their partners remained at the premises to celebrate with a champagne toast and a feast. HRH Princess Anne leaves a ‘feel good’ factor whenever she visits anywhere as she is extremely easy to talk to and has an incredible knowledge of the business she is visiting. |  |

| Grand opening 21.07.08 | The original Benjamin Roberts Ltd was founded in Cardiff in 1975. A few years later the business relocated to Swansea city centre and remained there until 2008 when the new owners purchased a brand new, purpose built industrial unit in Fforestfach. WEFO, the Welsh European Funding Office encouraged businesses that were profitable and successful to apply for grants. Part of the credentials was that both turnover and employees would increase over the following 5 years, Benjamin Roberts Ltd qualified and moved into their brand new premises in the Summer of 2008, celebrating with a grand opening party with 230 attendees. |  |
